Golden Moment: Warriors headed to NBA Finals

The Golden State Warriors are in the NBA Finals for the first time in 40 years after beating Houston.

Golden State is headed to its first Finals since 1975, securing a date with Cleveland after pulling away in the second half to eliminate Houston in five games.

OFW in Lebanon tries to escape from her employer whom she claimed was poisoning her

Lebanon – a scene in the streets of Lebanon has caught the attention of many Filipinos in the area. An overseas workers from the Philippines was allegedly trying to escape from her employer who, according to her, was trying to poison her.

The unidentified woman tried to escape by tying several curtains together to make a rope. When she was close to the ground, people started gathering around her, thinking it was a suicide attempt. According to some fellow Filipinos from the area, she was already taken by the police and was saved from her employer.

Apparently, the woman’s employer was known for abusing employees. Hopefully, the woman gets the justice she deserves and be sent home to her family. Facebook user Merly Salapa Dela Cruz shares what she witnessed during the incident:

This Man Insults A Coconut Vendor, When He Speaks Up. The Rich Man Was Speechless

People often complain about the growing population of people who suffers from poverty. But have you ever thought that maybe these people are poor because of those who chose to be selfish than to think of these people and their family?

Why do we often bargain with those fruit and vegetable vendors who chose to stay under the sun just to earn money to buy food for their families, but then spend thousands of our money to buy expensive things in malls without a single bargain?

Those vendors along the streets are part of the "Poor" community who works hard to earn money to buy food. In this video, a rich man tried to bargain a coconut that was originally sold for 30 but this man wanted it to be 15 only. The vendor said that he couldn't sell it at 15 so the rich man got mad and insulted him, and even called poor vendors as thieves.

A few moments later, the rich man came back, drinking a branded cola. The coconut vendor then asked how much does that cola cost him and he simply answered 35. The vendor then asked how much he bargained for that and the rich man said that there's no bargaining in it because it was branded.

"From the rich you didn't even bargain for One rupee, and from us poor, you bargained for 15 sir." The vendor said.

And with that, the rich man was awakened. He then said that he was right.

WATCH: Gerphil's First Performance on ABS-CBN After Asia's Got Talent

Everyone has been asking why Gerphil Flores didn't perform in the ABS-CBN's Sunday show called 'ASAP20', after all these controversies Gerphil made it clear that she wasn't able to perform in ASAP because she didn't come back to the Philippines immediately after the "Asia's Got Talent" and now, Gerphil, once again made everyone proud after her majestic performance on "It's Showtime" on Wednesday.

Classical singer, Gerphil Flores, who's one of the four Filipino finalists in AGT made her first appearance on ABS-CBN after the grand finals of AGT.

Just like all her past performances in Asia's Got Talent, her performance on "It's Showtime" wows the audience. She performed "The Impossible Dream" which is the same piece that she used in the grand finals of Asia's Got Talent. 

"Gusto ko lang magpasalamat sa inyong lahat sa pagsuporta sa akin at pagdasal sa akin sa journey ko sa 'Asia's Got Talent.' Maraming-marami pong salamat," Gerphil Flores said.

The passion for singing classical music is really flowing in Gerphil's blood. She is really amazing. Watch HERE:

This Sick Old Woman Broke Down After Her Nurse Did This! WOW!

You hear him before you see him.

The melodic baritone drifts through the sterile corridors of Valencia’s Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital.

The sound surprises no one. Most have gotten used to hearing Jared Axen, a registered nurse, who uses song to connect with his patients and help soothe them.

“It’s an incredible way to be able to bond with somebody,” said Axen, 26, who has worked at Henry Mayo for almost five years.

A former child performer who earned an associate's degree in music from Valencia’s College of the Canyons and had some private classical vocal training, Axen’s talent was exposed at the hospital quite by chance.

Are you wondering why he's being called as the singing nurse? Well, for your information, Jared Axen is a nurse who connects with the patients' heart by his voice. For every ill patient, he takes care of them and sings a song that will help the patient to feel that someone really cares for them, also, Jared Axen's voice helps lessen the pain that every patient is feeling.

One of his patients is Norma Laskoske, an 89-year old patient at Valencia Hospital who suffers from pneumonia and lung cancer. Her lips are slowly moving and mouthing the lyrics of the song that Jared Axen is singing for her.

“If he would come in 24 hours a day I think I’d be well and I’d be out of here but then I wouldn’t see him, he has a beautiful, soothing voice and the nice thing about it is when he looks at you, you know he’s singing to you. It just pierces my heart.” Laskoske said.

You see? This is the result of having passion in your chosen career, you just don't work for money, you work to help other people who really needs you.
