GOOD NEWS: Police Officer Pays For Anti-Rabies Medicine For Old Woman Who Was Bitten By Street Dog

MANILA, Philippines—There’s another “viral” photo of a Police Office going around online—this time, it’s a positive one.

The subject of the Facebook post by Celine Anne Giguera Hugo, who is identified as PO2 G.P. Jalandoni who pays for a Anti-Rabies medicine for old woman in San Lazaro Hospital.

PO2 Jalandoni said that the old woman was out on the streets begging for some money and food when she was bit by a dog. Anti-rabies vaccinations are expensive, and the old woman obviously did not have money to pay for it. Thanks to this good-samaritan-of-a-policeman, who shows good example to us.

According to Hugo, PO2 Jalandoni paid the anti-rabies medicine and gave to old woman wholeheartedly.

The Philippine National Police (PNP) on its official Facebook Page shared the post of Hugo, with the caption: "Isang PNP Good deed muna ngayong umaga! Narito ang istorya ni PO2 Jalandoni. #PNPGoodDeeds".

Indeed, this shows that still good Policeman exist !Thumbs up to you PO2 G.P. Jalandoni!
