UPDATE: Truth Unveiled Behind Viral "KFC FRIED RAT"

Well-known fast-food restaurant chain KFC has finally issued an official response to a customer's claim that he found a "fried rat" in his meal.

Many wondered if it was a golden piece of chicken or a fried rat, Devorise Dixon claimed on his Facebook post. The photo showed a large rat-shaped piece of chicken attached to a longer string of fried breading, appearing to be a tail.

On June 12, Dixon claimed that he went back to KFC and spoke to the manager about his complain in which he said the following:- "spoke to the manager she said it is a rat and apologized, it's time for a lawyer!!! besafe don't eat fast food"

Online reports said the fastfood chain made several attempts to contact the complainant and offer him to send the piece of chicken to an independent laboratory for testing. However, Dixon insist that he can only talk to the KFC with his lawyer.

KFC claim Dixon photograph is a Hoax. His viral photo don’t include a second angle, which “clearly shows it’s a piece of hand-breaded white meat chicken.”

KFC took a second angle of viral photo that shows a bite was taken from the chicken, exposing white meat.

KFC also said "Based on this, and the fact that he refuses to allow anyone to see the product, we are left to believe that he intended to deceive the public with this hoax and we are considering all options".
